Support: Housing and the small production budget for materials 250-500 € (depends on the project), also a letter of support to apply for a travel grant.
The Copper Leg Art Residency is located 18 km from Tallinn city center, in the village of Vaskjala, in an old school building surrounded by fields. The house was constructed in 1934 and was newly renovated in the summer of 2017. It is a meeting point for creative people, visual artists, musicians, performers, etc. for making their art and presenting it to people.
The Residency is managed by the Cultural Centre of Rae and provides residents with accommodation and working spaces, also supporting them in organizing public events, exhibitions, concerts, performances, workshops, and cultural gatherings.
The area is very calm and surrounded by beautiful nature which makes it a quiet space to live and work in. At the same time, the Estonian capital city Tallinn is easily reachable, one can get to the City center in 25 min by bus or in 15 min by car.
We are opening this call to artists for our third Summer season from May to the end of August 2020. We are looking for Land art, installation art, and contemporary sculpture project proposals. The final piece should be suitable for outdoor exhibition and resistant to weather changes.
The minimum stay is 2 weeks and a maximum of 2 months.

- A brief description of the idea for your proposed project
- A selection of your previous works
- Curriculum Vitae or short bio
- A description of materials you are proposing to use
- Initial costs breakdown
